Assignment

Complete these four WileyPLUS questions. Each is worth 5 points, for 20 points total.

  1. Chapter 1, Section 1.4, Question 50
  2. Chapter 1, Section 1.6, Question 16
  3. Chapter 2, Section 2.2, Question 12
  4. Chapter 2, Supplementary Exercises, Question 28

The questions cover algebra with matrix inverses and transposes, consistency of linear systems, determinants by row reduction, and the largest possible determinant under restrictions on matrix entries.

Submission and grading

Launch Assignment 2 in Canvas and complete it individually in WileyPLUS. Follow the course assignment ground rules.

  • The assignment is automatically graded, with three attempts per question, no score reduction, and the best score retained.
  • WileyPLUS randomizes values for each student while keeping that student’s values fixed across attempts. Answer choices are shuffled where applicable.
